Beer and other alcoholic drinks

Have to buy at bars or special store.

We do like our beers and you can get them at many locations, but the supermarket is not one of them. When you walk into the supermarket you will see something that looks like a beer and it even has the same name. This is a relatively cheap near-beer. The ones that have the most percentage is around 2,25%. There is a dedicated store for that and one of them is located downtown. The store is called vinbudin and you can get beers and other drinks there. That is the cheapest way to get Icelandic beers. Most of the bars also have a good selection of beers and we recommend you try some of the Icelandic brewed beers We are good at it even if I say so myself.

There was a ban on beer in Iceland from 1915 to March 1. 1989. This means that our history with beer is fairly new in comparison with other countries. This might explain our approach to selling it.
